Baseball

League age is determined by the player's age as of August 31, 2024 — e.g. a player born March 1, 2013 is league age 12, and a player born September 1, 2013 is also league age 12.

Registration is open online December 1 through January 15, 2026. All paid Major/Minor registrations and all submitted Intermediate/Seniors registrations get a discount (TBD) during December only. The sibling discount returns for 2026 and now includes softball: first player full price, second and subsequent players a discount (TBD) each.

Residency: continuing in 2026, Granby residents (in addition to Belchertown residents) are eligible to register for Belchertown Little League baseball. Families outside these towns should reach out — a waiver from Little League may make registration possible.

All returning Majors Division players continue in Majors. The number of Majors or Minors teams depends on registration numbers — typically 4–6 teams per division.

Dual division play: league age 11–13 players interested in and chosen for dual division team play (Majors dual to Intermediate, or Intermediate dual to Seniors) pay an additional cost (TBD). Per Little League guidelines, Minors players cannot dual to Majors. At registration you'll be asked whether your player wants to be considered for dual divisions — choosing "No" means selection for one team only; choosing "Yes" means your player could be selected for multiple teams, at the added cost.

When registering, select only one eligible division for your player. Team quantities may mean your player is ultimately placed in a different division than selected at registration.
